The Gunners haven’t won any of their last four meetings with Chelsea at the Emirates, drawing three. In fact Arsenal haven’t scored against Chelsea in their last five league meetings home and away conceding 12 in the process. Chelsea are still unbeaten in six under Gus Hiddinck, although four have been draws and they had to come from behind twice against Everton to take a hard earned point. Arsene Wenger should have the services of Mesut Ozil available again after he sat out the Stoke City game with a foot injury and Alexis Sanchez could also be in the squad, but only likely that he will make the bench, having been out for over a month. While the Arsenal team news is good their opponents is not so good, Diego Costa and Eden Hazard will both face late fitness tests and of the two Hazard is the more likely to feature. If Costa is to miss out then only Loic Remy can really stand in, he has only made a couple of starts this season but it is a case of needs must at Chelsea.
Away from home I can’t see anything but a very cautious Chelsea, they do have the quality in the side to provide a tough test for Arsenal but I just can’t see how they will be able to raise their game to the required level to be able to get anything here. The Gunners are in good form at home, four straight wins, so they will be confident of finally beating an out of sorts Chelsea side. I think the market is a little bit out offering Arsenal at what I think is a great price @ 2.1 (11/10), I had them at 1.95 (20/21) and that is where my cash will be going.
